Classical Orchestral

For the past 25 years Baroque in the Bush has taken place at Shingwedzi camp in the Kruger National Park. It has been a sell-out from day one. This year, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to present this event live, so we have put together a virtual offering of Baroque music featuring the Charl du Plessis Trio, Steinway Artist Francois du Toit and the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra conducted by Richard Cock. We hope to bring you another two of these concerts on the last weekend of September and October. This first concert will feature works by Bach, Telemann, Handel, and Vivaldi, as well as a tribute to Beethoven in this, the 250th year since his birth. Although not Baroque, it's too important an occasion to miss. The concert will be introduced and hosted by Richard Cock and will include short interviews with the featured artists. Take this opportunity to gather your family together and enjoy a varied programme, from the best original Baroque works to Charl du Plessis' re-inventions of Baroque music.
