Following the success of Lockdown Baroque 1 we present this second concert in the series. It will include the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, conducted by Richard Cock, playing works by Corelli, Handel, and Jeremiah Clarke. In addition to the orchestral works, this concert will also feature award-winning guitarist James Grace, as well as local pianist Francois du Toit performing music by JS Bach. In addition to this, Pretoria-based violinist Evert van Niekerk will be joined by Conrad Pienaar on the guitar performing music by Vivaldi. The very popular Charl du Plessis Trio will entertain us again with another selection of familiar but reinvented Baroque works.
