The High School Drama Festival gives learners a platform to voice their creativity, views and social concerns through drama on a professional stage to a captive audience. Schools submitted 10 miniute audition videos of their plays during the first round of the festival and 6 of theses plays were selected to perform at the Artscape Arena as part of the main High School Drama Festival on 18th to 20th August 2022.
Thursday 18 August
14:00 to 15:00 - Vusisizwe Secondary School
16:00 to 17:00 - Ihkwezi Theatre Group
18:00 to 19:00 - Harry Gwala High School
Friday 19 August
14:00 to 15:00 - Pioneer School
16:00 to 17:00 - Langa High School
18:00 to 19:00 - Immaculata (R.C.) Girls High School
Saturday 20 August
14:00 to 15:00 - Martin Oosthuizen High School
16:00 to 17:00 - Bernadino Heights Secondary School
17:30 to 18:30 - Winners announced & prize-giving
Please Note: No late comers will be allowed entrance into the venue.
