The countdown has begun and it's less than two month until Grammy Award winning R&B and soul royalty Anthony Hamilton journey's on our soil. Following the overwhelming response to the concert set for 23rd September, Up Close & Personal is pleased to announce one more night at The Sun Bet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Sunday the 24th September 2023, HERITAGE DAY. Heritage Day recognises and celebrates the cultural wealth of our nation. South Africans celebrate the day by remembering the cultural heritage of the many cultures that make up the population of South Africa.
Two nights of Up Close & Personal with Anthony Hamilton fans are encouraged to wear their traditional outfits that showcase their heritage. "A Soulful Night - It's a night where the music and the people meet. A place where memories and dreams dance together to create hope and happiness." Two nights of soulful music with Anthony Hamilton will see Fans both old and new will be serenaded to soothing sounds as the legendary singer Anthony Hamilton once again takes the stage on Mzansi shores. Joining him onstage will be The Ton3s (formerly known as The Hamiltones) and some South African top artists & DJs as we get down to this historic event on African soil.
On this month, as South Africans we are encouraged to celebrate our culture and the diversity of our beliefs and traditions. Each year in early spring, people across the country get together to eat, drink and be merry, celebrating what makes us all uniquely South African. We mark this month by wearing traditional outfits, eating traditional foods, learning about different cultures and spending time with family and friend while they are enjoying their favourite music.
