WINTER SYMPHONIES AT THE CITY HALL
The new season begins at 19:30 (not 20:00 as in the past) and pre-concert talks will take place at 18:45. The new season, which is conducted by Brandon Phillips, Arjan Tien and Bernhard Gueller, features a mini-Rachmaninov season to mark the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth, as well as a new violin concerto by Matthijs van Dijk with soloist Jeffrey Armstrong. Pianists performing Rachmaninov are Emanuil Ivanov, Mike Wang and Dmitry Shishkin.
